Group Riding Safety

Safety is the #1 concern while group riding. Riding in a group requires coordinated efforts not practiced while solo riding. Riding in a pack involves well coordinated movement & communication among riders in order to maintain safety. Familiarization with riding protocols identified in the Chapter's Group Riders' Guide is essential for everyone.

Please take the time to fully read & understand our Group Riders' Guide (available for downloading below). Also learn and use all hand signals below faithfully during rides. This will help ensure we all return safely from Chapter rides.

Ride far, ride often & ride safe!

Hand Signals

Following are some of the most common hand signals you'll encounter while riding with our Chapter. It's important that each member fully understands and uses these signals while riding with the Chapter. If you're riding 2-up, it's a good idea that your passenger knows them as well so they're able to function as your co-pilot and give the signals for you.
